Underground

In this project i wanted to recreate a scene which really struck me, from the movie Underground, of Emir Kusturica.

I modelled, sculpted, textured, the wheelchair, the church and the cross myself with reference images from the movie.

I created the environment in Houdini, shaded in Unreal Engine as a terrain and designed the trees in SpeedTree, made the fire simulation in real time using Embergen, and animated the wheelchair also in real time using Blender Addons. Everything is rendered inside Unreal Engine.
